The first time I went to Newfoundland it was the end of winter and beginning of spring, but most of the time I have spent there has been between May and October. I haven't seen as much Nfld winter as I would like. I hear from friends they are getting a good one this year, with lots of snow. Here is the glimpse I had of winter on the Rock:

Killdevil Mountain from across Bonne Bay |

Driving towards Woody Point, Bonne Bay frozen over |

On a snowshoe adventure, with a friendly chocolate lab |
Luckily we get a pretty fantastic winter here in the Kawarthas, in central Ontario. Recently I had the opportunity to take this happy group of
Big Brothers and Big Sisters out on a snowshoe hike at the Haroldtown Conservation Area, near Peterborough. Although it was cold and windy, we enjoyed the sun and the fresh snow and some sweet treats provided by
East City Bakery (thanks Markus and crew!).
How do you spend your sunny winter afternoons?
Hi Margot,
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your friends had a wonderful day. I hope you have enjoyed the wonderful nature and the fantastic weather. By the way, I am proud of my sales assistants that they could support your journey with some delicious treats.
Enjoy the nature ...
