I started drinking tea when I was small. On Sundays when I was young I would go to church with my grandparents. After service we would have a short social time, always with tea, coffee, cookies and juice for the children. I decided I wanted tea like the grown-ups and I would have half tea/milk drink with lots of sugar cubes!
Now as an adult, I still drink a lot of tea. However, the ratio of tea is much higher than the milk, and there is no sugar (unless it is chai). I have 4 teapots, a beautiful handmade tea cozy (thanks Aunt Sandy), a handmade stöfchen (with a tea-light under the pot, helps to keep the tea warm - from Germany), and copious amounts of tea, black, red, white and herbal. Right now my favourite is chai!
Recently I was in Vaughan, where there is a very large mall. In this mall they have a Teaopia store, and so many teas to choose from it can be overwhelming. Last year, when I was there, I noticed these cute little ceramic travel mugs - and I wanted one. A year later, when I was still thinking about them, I returned to the mall and the store and immediately bought this cute little yellow printed travel mug. What a great addition to my tea collection! And it keeps my tea nice and warm :)
Are you a tea drinker? Or do you prefer coffee?

Hello! I just found you through Whimsical Poppysmic. I also love tea, hot or iced, and very rarely drink coffee. I love tea store and we have a few great ones in Chicago, just 2 hours north. Cheers on your super cute yellow mug, Kate
ReplyDeleteHello! I'm not really fond of drinking tea... I used to drink coffee everyday, but due to a medical condition, I stopped. ;)
