You guessed it! My favourite Christmas treat is fudge. Every year for many many years now my mom has made numerous Christmas treats, one of them being fudge. I remember years ago, a friend of mine who was so accustomed to the Christmas fudge that she went straight to the snowmen tins to see if there was any available. And even though I haven't lived there for almost eight years I still expect some fudge every time I go home for Christmas. This year I will be sure to sample some fudge when we visit for Christmas, but I will also be posting a fudge recipe on my blog during the Christmas Cookie Countdown. I don't know what day exactly, but it will be there! I'm so excited I can't wait!
What is your favourite treat during the holidays? Do you usually make it yourself? I hope you are having a lovely Sunday, and it is much less gloomy out there than it is here!

Fudge. That is a perfect holiday treat. I have a friend who makes great peppermint fudge, complete with crushed candy canes on top, but I like the plain old chocolate kind best.

ReplyDeleteMMM! I LOVE fudge too! My husband and I just learned how to make his grandma's recipe of fudge and we've made it four times since we learned how...about a week ago! And we'll be making it for so many people for Christmas. MMMM Fudge!!
