April Fun & a Winner!

Good day lovely lads and lasses! And Happy April! April arrived yesterday with a little trick for those of us in Central Ontario - Snow! It melted quickly and I didn't even get a photo, but it was some April Fool's joke.

I was away this weekend, spending a little time visiting my parents in Orillia. It was nice to visit and relax. We spent some time at the cottage, and then Sunday afternoon mom and I attended Diva Day, which was a women's only fundraising event for a women's shelter in Orillia. It was wonderful, with lots of positive energy, snacks, mini-treatments and networking it was a beautiful afternoon. I had a bit of a tough drive home afterwards, being tired and relaxed is no way to travel alone - but no worries, I made it!

A few places you can find me in the blogosphere this week:
Laura from Blue Eyed Night Owl won a giveaway over on This Enchanted Pixie, and is graciously showing off all her winnings! Can you spot the item she chose with my shop credit?

Also, I'm giving away another Newfoundland Package this week on My Girl Thursday. Be sure to hop over and check it out!

And finally the winner of the March Giveaway is:
Congrats Meg, please e-mail me to claim your prizes! :)

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I'm feeling a little tired today, so looking forward to a relaxing evening at home. And I'm excited about the short week and up-coming Easter Weekend!

  1. We got some snow in the past week as well. I wasn't that amused by it, although I know I should be grateful for the moisture since we've been in a drought for the last couple years. Hope you have a great Easter week!
