Happy Good Friday everyone. Reggie and I had an extremely busy day, which is why I haven't checked in before now. I spent most of the day cleaning, re-organizing and setting up the baby nook. What is a baby nook you ask? Well we have a fairly small house (1-bed), so the baby's crib will be going in our room, but we don't have space in there for other baby necessities. So we decided to convert our sun room area to a baby nook. Previously the sun room contained an unused dog crate, furniture, storage, plants... basically random stuff and wasn't well used. And today I converted it into this:
So we cleared out all the junk, I cleaned the nook, and Reggie and I put the change table together. Then I borrowed some furniture from other parts of the house: a rocking chair for nursing, and snuggles, and a small book shelf with books for me and books for Pip, a little area rug for colour and some plants. It's a wonderful space with the bright south-facing windows and I'm happy I'll be able to look outside from where I sit. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but I'm extremely happy with how it turned out so far.
What do you think?
