100 is a pretty big number. I remember when I could count to 20, and then I learned that counting to 100 was the same I just had to know all the 10s.
My great-grandmother lived 2 weeks past her 100th birthday and I would love to live as long to see as much as she did, and in such great health.
When I started writing my blog, a little over a year ago, I wanted primarily to share some of my Newfoundland experiences and the way of life that they live. And just recently my GFC count reached 100! Something I had hoped for, but never really focused on.
I've never had 100 of anything before (ok maybe 100 beads or something like that), but I am so grateful to have all you people who check in and follow along with me on a daily basis, it means so much! Not to mention the followers I have on bloglovin, twitter, via e-mail, and others.
So thank you! I really truly appreciate all of you! And if I could I would send each and every one of you a personal thank you and a little gift. But that's not really in my budget, so instead I thought I would offer up something for a giveaway:
Now you can take a small piece of Newfoundland around with you, in a necklace. Small glass bottle with a small piece of fishing net and some items I collected while beachcombing.
To enter:
You must be a follower of Newfoundlander at Heart, doesn't matter how, but let me know how. And simply share something you love about the coast.
You have until Sunday March 11th at 11:59pm EST to enter. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI think my favorite thing about the coast is the smell of salty water or the feeling of sand squishing between your bare toes. I can't decide which!
Congrats on reaching 100 followers!
ReplyDeleteI have been following you for the past month or so, but I had you bookmarked.
My father came from Harbor Grace, NL. But I recently found cousins, thanks to Ancestry.com, in Conche where my ancestors were part of the founding settlers.
I can't believe my family left such a beautiful, captivating place!
Some of the pictures just leave me breathless!
I am not much of a flier and I don't know if I will ever get to see it in person, so I will have to visit through the eyes of Newfoundlanders.
